Wanda M. (Bieliski) Pius

Wanda Bieliski Pius, 102,  a resident of Springhill Senior Living passed away Tuesday August 31, 2021 at Forestview Healthcare Center.

She was born in Erie on December 8, 1918 daughter of the late Stanley and Balbina Staniszewski Bieliski
 
Wanda worked during World War II at Erie Resistors.  She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church.  She loved gardening, working in her flowerbeds and baking Christmas cookies.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years Chester Pius, brother Stanley Bieliski and sisters Jennie Lewis and Helen Payha.
 
Survivors include her sister-in-law Janet Pius and several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Oakview Assisted Living for the wonderful and compassionate care Wanda received.
 
Friends may call at St. John the Baptist Church East 26th & Wallace St. on Friday from 10AM until the time of the Funeral Mass there at 11AM.  The family requests that everyone attending please wear a mask for everyone's safety.
 
Burial in Calvary Cemetery will be private.
 
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. John the Baptist Church.
