Stephen Sienecki Obituary

Stephen "Steve Bob" Sienecki, 78 of Erie Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday September 4th 2022.
Steve graduated from East High School.  After serving the US Army during Vietnam, he began his 32 year career with the Erie Fire Department.  He retired from the department in 2000.  He was a long time member of St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic parish in McKean and the YMCA of Erie.  Steve was a lover of cars, owning a little bit of everything over the years.  Many of his life long friendships formed over the mutual love of cars.  During his retirement, he enjoyed his vehicles, playing softball with the Erie Codgers, spending time at the YMCA and "making the rounds" visiting his friends on a daily basis
Steve was a kind and loving spouse to his wife, Madeline as well as an amazing father to his son Stephen Jr. and daughter Cassandra.  As a lover of animals, he enjoyed spending time with the family dogs Nugget, Wingnut, and Bert.  Some of his favorite sayings included "be safe". "have a safe one" and "be careful" which he was known for instead of saying goodbye.
Steve is further survived by his brother Robert Sienecki and he was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Ann Sienecki.
Friends may at the Carl A. Slomski & Son Funeral Home Inc 2101 Ash St.on Monday September 12 from 12 noon until the time of the Memorial Service there at 1pm.
Steve was a lover of all animals.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the ANNA Shelter 1555 East 10th Street Erie, PA 16511.
