It is with deep sorrow and unwavering love that the family of Ryan Casey "Ziggy" Rzomp announce his sudden passing on March 6th, 2022. He was born in Erie Pennsylvania on March 13th, 1986 son of Darcie (Johnston) Rzomp and Jim Rzomp.
Ryan attended St. Luke Grade School and graduated from Cathedral Prep in 2004. He was currently employed at Accuride Erie.
The entertainer at family gatherings and dare-devil at parties, everyone knew Ryan as the "life of the party". He had a huge heart, kind soul, wild spirit and always let you know how much he loved you. He was incredibly generous and outstretched his hands to all. He was always a phone call away when you needed him.
Ryan appreciated the simple things and loved going to camp. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling and doing firework displays. Above all, Ryan loved spending time with his family and friends. Especially his fiance' Cindy and their daughter Nora, who he was completely smitten with. They had a beautiful father/daughter bond, and it pains us greatly how much he will miss.
Ryan loved with all of his heart. He was a loving fiance', father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, grandson, cousin, friend and will be deeply missed by all those who knew him. We mourn his daily presence in our lives and will miss his contagious smile and seeing the twinkle of mischief in his beautiful green eyes.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Ruth and Dick Johnston and Casey Rzomp.
Ryan is survived by his fiance' Cindy Kuerner, daughter Nora Rzomp, parents Darcie and Jim Rzomp, sister Sara McCormick and husband Kevin, nephew Colin McCormick, nieces Lauren and Abby McCormick, grandmother Vera Rzomp and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Also survived by Cindy's loving family Ted Kuerner, Angela Kuerner, Joe Scott, Harriett Scott and Michael Kuerner.
Family and friends may attend a Funeral Mass on Saturday March 19, 2022 at St. Luke Church 421 East 38th St. Erie PA. at 10AM
Also a celebration of life is being planned for our memorial of love for Ryan to be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Ryan's daughter Nora Rzomp in care of Cindy Kuerner.
The Carl A. Slomski & Son Funeral Home Inc. 2101 Ash St. is handling arrangements.
