Patricia ‘Pat’ Marie Wright

On January 31st, 2021, COVID-19 took another angel home; Patricia Wright of Erie, PA.  Patricia slipped away peacefully in her sleep, at  the age of 65, at St. Vincent Hospital. Patricia also struggled for two years with dementia.

Patricia will be missed, loved but never forgotten. She is survived by her brothers, Ron Wright, his wife Kathy Wright and their daughter Stephanie Craig; Ernest C. Wright Jr., his wife Kathleen Wright and their children Chrissy and Jeff Wright; her children, Dawn Baldwin, Tina Baldwin and David Wright; her grandchildren, Daiyasha Baldwin, Damani Robinson, Alyssa Balwin and Deyonce Robinson; and her great grandchildren, Jermaine and Jay’Ciere Phillips.

Patricia graduated from Academy High School, and pursued post-secondary  education to become a mechanic. However, life had other arrangements for her, as she became a mother. Patricia always was a hard worker, along with being a caring and loving individual. She pursued many jobs to provide means for her children and herself. During her life, Patricia struggled with depression and alcoholism. Patricia would have celebrated her eighth year of sobriety. Patricia Retired at the age of 58, where she resided with her daughter, in Wesleyville, PA.

Patricia will forever be remembered as a friend, a sister, an aunt, a grandmother, a great grandmother, but most of all a beautiful mother.  Patricia was generous of time and appreciated helping others. She taught her children to love one another, and treat people equally. "No one is less than you; treat people with no difference from one another.”Patricia spent her last years helping those less fortunate than her, with  voluntary work and charities.  She enjoyed spending her free time watching Unsolved Mysteries, Little House on The Prairie (reruns), and western television shows. Patricia was a spiritual individual and an avid church goer.  She will be deeply missed by who all knew her.

A private graveside service for the family was held with burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.  Patricia will join her mother (Cornelia Wright), father (Ernest C. Wright) and twin sister (Priscilla M. Lecker) in eternal paradise.
