Mary Ellen (Hausmann) Ferrick

Mary Ellen Ferrick, 84, of Erie, PA and The Villages, FL died Saturday, June 26, 2021 surrounded by her family.

She was born in Erie, April 5, 1937 daughter of the late Wilfrid and Helen McCarty Hausmann.  She was a graduate of Mercyhurst Seminary, class of 1955, and a member of St. George Catholic Church.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph L. Ferrick, Sr. and an infant son Matthew Ferrick.
 
Survivors include her children Joseph Ferrick (Susan), Jeffrey Ferrick (Lisa), Sally Busko (Christopher), Gregory Ferrick (Kimberly), Julie Wilson (Philip), Paul Ferrick (Jeffrey), Timothy Ferrick (Lisa), Andrew Ferrick and Rev. Michael Ferrick, grandchildren, Matthew, Melanie, and Maxwell Ferrick, Coltin and Austin Ferrick, Alexander, Benjamin, and Nathaniel Busko, Nathanael, Corinne, and Samantha Ferrick, Hannah and Maureen Wilson, Connor and Liam Ferrick, six great grandchildren, sister Ann Burbridge (Geoffrey), brothers Robert Hausmann (Jean), John Hausmann, Thomas Hausmann (Lynn), and many good friends from the Villages and Erie.
 
Special thanks to her grandchildren Coltin, Corinne, and Samantha who took such loving care of her this past year.
 
Friends are invited to call at St, Peter Cathedral, 230 West 10th Street on Friday July 2, 2021 from 9:00 am until the time of the funeral Mass at 10:00 am. 
Inurnment will follow at Calvary Cemetery Columbarium.
 
Friends who are unable to attend in person can participate in the Mass
