Lillian Marie Maciulewicz passed into eternal life peacefully on June 27, 2021 at home in West Chester, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Forest City, PA on December 21, 1925, daughter of the late John and Mary Gasper Lanuha. Lillian was a devout Catholic and member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church and it's choir. She was a long-standing member and held various offices with The Catholic Daughters of the Americas (Court #515) and The Polish Women's Alliance (Group #469). both of Erie, PA.
Lillian attended Holy Trinity grade School and St. Benedict's Academy. She worked at General Electric and retired with over 20 years of service. Some of the joys of her life, were quilting with her sisters, traveling including trips to Poland and Hawaii, her family, polka weekend vacations in the Pocono's, Polish food, and all things Polish.
The lessons she taught, the many stories she shared, the Polish food she cooked and the values she instilled were the inspiration for everyone that knew her, especially her family who she loved so deeply. She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony and sisters Patty and Marge. She is survived by her sister, Marion Pennock of Solomons, MD; three children; daughter Cynthia Maciulewicz Ganska of Erie, PA, son Anthony Maciulewicz (Mary) of Grapevine, TX,, Paul Maciulewicz (Lisa) of West Chester, OH, six grandchildren, Jessica Ganska (Chris) of Kent, WA, Joseph Ganska of Erie, PA, Bradley Maciulewicz (Beth) of Grapevine, TX, Katie Gass (Jason) of Grapevine, TX, Gordon Maciulewicz (Katie) of Hamilton, OH, and Jacob Maciulewicz (Chelsea Rienks) of Albany, CA, and great grandson Jamie Maciulewicz of Hamilton, OH, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call at Carl A. Slomski and Son Funeral Home Inc., 2101 Ash Street on Wednesday, July 7th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and may attend a service at the funeral home on Thursday July 8th at 9:20 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery.
