Edward T. Reszkowski, 80 of Greene Twp., passed away on Monday October 25, 2021 at Pleasant Ridge Manor.
He was born Erie on October 13, 1941 son of the late Edward and Wanda Dylewski Reszkowski.
Ed served in the U.S. Navy. He retired from the PA Soldiers & Sailors Home working in the maintenance department for over 20 years.
He was an accomplished musician playing the saxophone and the clarinet. In his earlier career he played in Las Vegas for opening acts for Elvis Presley and also Ann Margaret. Locally he played in several polka bands, mainly the Hilites and the Bob Uleck Band.
He was a Lifetime member of the Polish Falcons Nest 123 where he received the Legion of Honor Medal. Ed enjoyed bowling and attending many Falcons' bowling tournaments out of town, golfing, hunting, and gambling at various casinos.
Survivors include his wife Cynthia Jaworowicz Reszkowski, daughter Lisa Walter (Jeff), granddaughter Alesha, sister Dorothy Wassel (Lance) and brother Jerry Reszkowski (Barbara). He is also survived by two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the staff on unit K at Pleasant Ridge Manor for the excellent care Ed received.
Friends may call at Holy Trinity Church East 22nd & Reed Streets on Saturday from 9:30am until the time of the Funeral Mass there at 11am. Everyone attending must wear a mask regardless of vaccination status.
Private burial will be in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the ANNA Shelter or to Pleasant Ridge Manor..
