Theodore "Ted" J. Jankowski, 93, a resident of the PA Soldiers & Sailors Home passed away there on Thursday June 28, 2018. He was born in Erie, September 6, 1924 son of the late Anthony and Stanislawa Kaszuba Jankowski. Ted was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He worked at GE and then at RD & D Corp. where he retired from as a purchasing agent. He was a member of St. Casimir Church, Polish Falcon's Nest 123, American Legion Post 771, and the Moniuszko Club. He enjoyed going to the casino. He was preceded in death by his wife Genevieve Gutowski Jankowski, sisters, Jean Tomasik, Sophie DiBacco, Maria Jankowski, Theresa Jankowski, and Irene Andrzejczak, and brothers, Stanley, Henry, and Anthony Jankowski. Survivors include his nieces and nephews, Dee Madura, Bernadette Stefano, Terry Hiney, Barb Leonardi, Darlene Loupe, Betty Irwin, Dr. Richard DiBacco, Dr. John DiBacco, Tony Jankowski, and Jack Tomasik, and many great nieces and great nephews. Friends may call at Holy Trinity Church East 22nd & Reed St. on Monday from 10am until the time of the Funeral Mass there at 11am. Emtombment will be in Calvary Mausoleum-West.
