Kathy Woznicki Bernik

Kathy Woznicki Bernik, 57 passed away peacefully June 3, 2017 at the Erie VA Medical Center to dance among the Angels.  She was born August 3, 1957, a beloved daughter of the late Valentine and Helen Stuczynski Woznicki.  The youngest of 4 children, she was raised a devout Catholic.  She was a graduate of Tech High School class of 1975, and graduate of EBC  Kathy served in the U.S. Army 1978 to 1980.  Kathy was a lifetime member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, serving as a Eucharistic Minister.  Her interests were varied from forming friendships that lasted a lifetime, visiting the sick and elderly, long drives in the country, gardening, spending time outdoors, and chasing her 3 dogs around.  Kathy's loving devotion and infectious smile and personality earned her many lifetime friends.  Kathy is survived by her husband of 21 years, Daniel Bernik, sisters Ann Marie Kirker (Jerry) of Apollo Beach FL, Alice Perillo (Ben) of Boca Raton FL, brother, Richard Woznicki (Barb) of Syracuse NY, and many nieces and nephews.  Friends may call at the Carl A. Slomski & Son Funeral Home Inc. 2101 Ash St. Friday June 23, 5pm to 7pm and may attend a Funeral Mass Saturday June 24, at 10am at Holy Trinity Chruch.  Private burial will be in Mount of Olive Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Church 2220 Reed St. Erie, PA 16503.  Please send condolences to www.slomskifuneralhome.co
