John A. Driscoll Jr.

John A. Driscoll Jr., 85 of Fairview Twp. passed away Wednesday August 1, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital.  He was born in Erie on March 27, 1933, son of the late John A. Sr. and Eda Shulkoski Driscoll.  John was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from the Navy after twenty years of service.  After his career with the Navy, John worked and retired from Parker White Metal.  He was an avid fisherman and hunter.  John was very active with the Tri-Boro Senior Center in Fairview, where he volunteered as the Center's photographer. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Leroy Driscoll and Joseph Driscoll.  Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Jurkiewicz Driscoll, daughter Debora DiMarzo (Michael), son Dale Driscoll, grandchildren, Michael DiMarzo, Kristine Harvey, and April Brown, sisters Patricia Lukowich (Paul), and Margaret Wisinski, and brother Timothy Driscoll (Sharon).  He is also survived by nine great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.  Friends may call at the Carl A. Slomski & Son Funeral Home Inc. 2101 Ash St. Sunday 4pm until the time of services there at 7pm.  Private burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Tri-Boro Senior Center 7555 West Ridge Road Fairview PA 16415.
