James J. Fialkowski, 83 of Union City, PA died Monday November 6, 2017, at his residence, He was born in Erie on May 19, 1934, son of the late John and Marcella Zimmerman Fialkowski. Jim served in the U.S. Air Force as an airplane mechanic. He retired from Haysite Mfg., as an Inspector. He loved to to fish and watch the NFL Pittsburgh Steeler games. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Norma Jakubowski Fialkowski, children, James M. Fialkowski (Brenda), Jeffrey J. Fialkowski (Brenda), Julie A. Gocal (Frank), and John M. Fialkowski, grandchildren, Hallie, Cassie and Jeffrey Fialkowski, Christine Szymanowski (Ed), and Ryan Gocal and great grandchildren, Damien, Johnny, Tristan, Tyeson and Felix. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, his beloved dog Buddy, and a brother. As per Jim 's wishes, no calling hours will be observed. A private service will be held at a later date.
