Agnes (Schley) Golembieski

Agnes Schley Golembieski, 91,  passed away Thursday March 15, 2018 at St. Mary's Home of Erie East.  She was born in Erie on November 28, 1926 daughter of the late William and Ursula O'Conner Schley.  Agnes was a retired employee of GE.  She was a member of Holy Trinity Church, and the GE Quarter Century Club.  She volunteered with Road to Recovery and Meals on Wheels.  Agnes enjoyed gardening and attending Seawolves baseball & Otter hockey games.  She was preceded in death by her husband Wesley R. Golembieski,  brother William Schley, and dear friend James Drumm.  Survivors include her daughter Regina Marie Skwaryk (Stephen), grandchildren Stephen and Michael Skwaryk, brother William Schley (Betty), and cousins, Terry, Charlotte,  and Joshua Lapeusz, and Charlene Teribery  The family would like to the thank the staff of Independence Court and St. Mary's Home for the wonderful care Agnes received. No calling hours will be observed.  Friends may attend a Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity Church East 22nd & Reed St.  Saturday at 11am.  Private burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Church 2220 Reed St..
