Michelle D. Hendricks Pochatko Peters, 59, of Erie, passed away Monday September 18th, 2023 at St. Vincent Hospital
Michelle has left this world just as peacefully as she lived in it. She was surrounded by her loving husband of 29 years and her 8 children.
Born in Erie, PA on June 25, 1964, age 59, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Majczyk Hendricks
She was preceded in death by her brother Robert R. (Bobby) Hendricks, and nephew Gregory John Hendricks (Little G).
Michelle leaves behind 8 children, Phil Pochatko, Andrew & (Heather) Pochatko, Stephen Pochatko, Chistopher Pochatko, Zachary & Cheyanne Peters, Robert Peters, Mathew & (Aurora) Peters,and Nicholas Peters. Also her three siblings, Christine Watkins and husband Charles, Gregory Hendricks and wife Renae and Jeffery Hendricks and wife Karen. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren with one on the way along with many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.
Michelle was the beloved soulmate of Roger D. Peters. They shared 29 years together and a love that was rare.
Despite having such a large family Michelle always made time to give her love and support to everyone. She was a loving and caring soul who adored being a Mom and Nana,
Michelle liked to spend her free time going to the casinos and playing bingo. She also enjoyed fishing and sitting around the campfire at camp drinking wine with her friends.
Michelle's presence in this world was a quiet one however her absence will be felt by many,
Friends may call at the Carl A. Slomski & Son Funeral Home Inc. 2101 Ash St on Sunday (Today) September 24, 2023 4PM to 7PM and are invited to a Funeral Mass on Monday at St. John the Baptist Church at 10AM (Everyone please go directly to Church,)
Private burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
