Christine Lynn (Rounds) Martin

Christine Lynn Martin (Rounds) 59, passed away Friday September 1st at the PA Soldiers and Sailors Home. She was surrounded by her family.

Christine was born October 17, 1963 in Erie Pa. She was a 1983 graduate of McDowell High School. Christine enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She was a lover of animals especially cats.

Christine is survived by her son Edward Rickrode and her sister Chari Figurski (Jeffery). Christine is also survived by Samuel a Ziniach (biological son) the adopted son of Mrs Susan A Ziniach and Dr. Samuel Ziniach, Jr of Chicago. She is survived by her cousins in Erie and Ohio and her aunt Joyce Hersperger of Erie and her niece and nephews in Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Martin in March of this year and her sister Nancy Rychel in May of this year. She was preceded in death by her parents Linda and William Rounds and her grandparents Bernice and Bruce Mischler and Burton and Mary Rounds. She was preceded in death by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family would like to thank the PA Soldiers and Sailors Home for their impeccable care of Christine in her time of illness and their support of the family in the time preceding to her death. They would like to thank UPMC hospice for everything in their time of service.

At the request of Christine, there will be no calling hours. Burial will be private for family at the Union Cemetery in Phillipsville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choosing.
