Theodore E. Fitch

Erie, PA- Theodore E. Fitch, 78,  son of Kenneth Fitch and Anna Skadauski Fitch, was born April 7, 1938 and died January 30, 2017 at the Pennsylvania Soldiers and Sailors Home.
     In life he had worked at S&J Groves Construction, Huston Chemical/ Lord Corporation and served our country as a United States Marine.
     He was an avid bowler but his true passion was fishing. He had won numerous state awards and certificates for Muskellunge and Walleye. He made home made lures and jigs that he sold at local stores and Ellie's Bait and Tackle.
     He was proceeded in death by his parents; Kenneth and Anna Fitch, a brother Carl Fitch and his sister Margaret Fitch.
     He is survived by a brother; William Fitch his wife Sondra, their children and grand children. His sister in law Jeanette Fitch, her son and grandchild. His daughter Jennifer Getty, her husband Ken and his grandson Tyler Herrington. He is also survived by; his son Bryan Fitch, his wife Diane and their children; Elizabeth, Erica, and Andrew.
     Funeral services will be held at the family's discretion at Twelve Apostles Lutheran Church in Saegertown, Pennsylvania.  Pivate burial will be in PA Soldiers & Sailors Home Cemetery.  The Carl A. Slomski & Son Funeral Home Inc. 2101 Ash St. is handling arrangements.
